Fiery Start

Go, Scorbunny! Throwing your Poké ball into the ring, your Scorbunny appears with a screech. Fighting against a team of Oddishes, you feel pretty good about your choice. Sure enough, in only a few flame-filled moves, you have reduced the opposition to ashes! Well, ok, maybe they just fainted.

That is when it happens- Your opponent summons their final Pokémon. After fighting five Oddishes in a row, you are sure that it will be another. Much to your surprise, they summon a Tentacool! Great, you think. That would have been nice to know a minute ago.

Questions & Answers

Q: The sizing measurements are confusing. Is the length of the jumpsuit just to the top of the shoulder or to the top of the ears? Also, same question for the the torso measurement. (1 Answer)

Monster Responds...
For this jumpsuit, the length measurement runs from the top of the shoulder to the ankle, not to the top of the ears. The torso measurement follows the same logic, running from where the shoulder meets the neck down to the crotch seam. The ears are part of the attached hood and aren't factored into either measurement, so you can compare your child's actual shoulder-to-ankle and shoulder-to-crotch measurements against our chart to find the right size.

Q: Does the length of the Scorbunny costume include the hood? Should I be measuring from the top of my child's head to the floor or from her shoulders?

Jumpsuit length is measured from the shoulder-neck junction down to the ankle, so you'll want to measure from your daughter's shoulder (where it meets her neck) to the floor, not from the top of her head. The hood isn't part of that measurement. Our size chart shows jumpsuit lengths of 40 inches for size 4/6, 44 inches for 7/8, and 48 inches for 10/12, so comparing her shoulder-to-floor measurement to those numbers will point you to the right size.

Q: How do you get the ears to stand up? They are so heavy and keep flopping over. (1 Answer)
Asked by Elaine | 3 October 2021
Monster Responds...
There's actually wire built into the ears specifically to help them stand up. Try bending the wire upward and shaping it until the ears hold the position you want.
