Which Kind of Bird?
Some films can strike us pretty hard, even if we're not always sure why. Forrest Gump is one of them that just keeps us going. While the world of the film has a whole bunch of really complicated things going on, Forrest is running around fairly oblivious to all the rather intense details (and even some of his comical contributions to history). But, one thing that our dear Forrest never overlooks is Jenny Curran. He'd do near anything for her to help make her smile.
Turns out that Jenny just wanted one wish to be granted, the very same that she prayed for as a kiddo: "make me a bird, so I can fly far, far, far away." Well, she definitely got her wish for traveling and, with the amazing music that would captivate her life, we have to wonder which bird she became. "Hummingbird?" Maybe a "Rockin' Robin?" Of course, if you take a look at one of her favorite looks from the time of flower power, "Free Bird" seems pretty clear!
