Unfortunately the medium that I ordered my nearly 8 year old only just fits so the year or so of dress up is not going to happen. The quality is ok in terms of construction, my issue is with the fabric quality. I expected thicker material for the hat and jacket not a very thin, delicate cotton woven. A stretch woven is more appropriate for kids costume.Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
