The traditional image of St. Patrick shows him holding a shamrock, which he used as a means of teaching religious lessons. He was also credited with the act of banishing all snakes from Ireland! Yep, according to legend, the reason that Ireland has no snakes today is all due to St. Patrick. They say that he chased all of those squirmy critters out of the island, never to return. That's right, Ireland doesn't have snakes to this day (crazy, right?). It's because of this man's legacy that we celebrate St. Patty's Day today, and there's no better way to pay homage to the iconic figure than by dressing up as him!

Our costume designers wanted to make a costume that would let anyone dress up as the patron saint! This Adult Saint Patrick Costume does that with ease, bringing you a look that's both traditional and festive for St. Patrick's Day. The costume begins with a white tunic, reminiscent of the ones worn by religious clergy. The green poncho is a festive touch to the outfit and fits over the tunic. The gold patterning on the front gives a slightly regal look. That hat has a matching green color and also features gold detailing on top. Put it all together and you have an outfit that's ready for the celebration!
