Vocaloid Hatsune Miku Double Sleeve Costume Hoodie
If you don’t understand my silence
How will you understand my words?
A synthesized singing voice featured in over 100,000 songs released worldwide, Hatsune Miku was first developed by Crypton in 2007 to give a persona to their new synthetic voice software. Her name comes from the Japanese ???? for “the first sound from the future.” When tasked with personalizing the computer program, manga artist Kei Garo started out with Miku’s color scheme by focusing on Yamaha’s synthesizer’s signature turquoise color, and he put bars on her outfit to represent the program’s user interface. Garo’s design became enormously popular, and now the 16 year old android girl has holographically appeared live in concert, inspired more fan art than many other fictional characters, and even has her own Twitter feed. Pretty impressive for an anime character!
