Gamewright Rat-a-Tat Cat: A Fun Numbers Card Game
The Growing Mind
It’s beginning. Your child’s mind is turning into a ravenous sponge! They’re learning new things every day and they need to feed their growing curiosity and thinking skills. Of course, you’ve been looking for new ways to entertain them to keep their mind occupied… so, how about a little game that tests their memory and helps them start learning some basic math concepts?
This Rat-A-Tat Cat Card Game is a cute way to teach powerful concepts to your child while playing a game. It comes with a deck of cards, each with an illustration with a cat and a number. It also comes with rules for play in both English and Spanish. Gameplay is simple enough for ages 6 and older, but can prove quite a challenge for older kids. The game plays 2 to 6 players.
To play, each player has hidden cards in front of them that they may peek at. During the course of the game, you’ll be drawing new cards, trying to replace higher number cards with lower number cards. Special cards let you do special actions, like peek at your opponent’s cards, swap cards with someone else, or draw extra cards. The score each round with the cards left in front of you and the person with the lowest score at the end of the game, wins!
